Meet Laura “Seattle Stitchery started in 2020 during the pandemic, in my home in the Greenlake neighborhood of Seattle. I started with facemasks, eventually selling more than 12,000 masks globally, with 10% of masks donated to non-profit organizations in Washington State. After a year in business and as my sewing skills grew, I began adding more useful accessories to my Shop: tote bags, crossbody bags, purses, zipper bags, wallets and home decor! I love to use bold and bright colors – many of the fabrics I use are hard to find, out of print, or reclaimed. The majority of my materials are sourced from small businesses, and I love to use fabrics designed by independent designers.”
